National Bike To School Day looks different this year.
The COAST Safe Routes to School team has exciting news!
Bike To School Day 2014 will include a competition between all South Coast participating elementary and junior high schools. Schools that have a Participation Rate* of over 50% will be included in a random drawing with four winners. The four schools that win will receive a BRAND NEW BICYCLE and multisport helmet to raffle off to one of their lucky students! (A BIG thank you to Yardi Systems for donating the four bicycles.)

In addition, schools across the South Coast will hold their own Bike To School Day celebrations to encourage more biking and other sustainable transportation modes to school…not just on May 7th, but year-round!
