On behalf of the COAST Board, I want to thank everyone who helped out on Measure D over the past year, and everyone who cared enough to take the time and become informed about the issues. Now, we really have our work cut out for us to educate more folks out there so that the next version of Measure D will pass. And we will keep working to make sure that whatever version of the measure appears on the ballot in 2008 will be a balanced measure like this one was, with plenty of funding for alternatives that will be sustainable for the 30 years of the measure and beyond.
